Donna Simmons' Background

Donna Simmons graduated in 1993 from Berkeley Movement Studies Institute Guild Certified Feldenkrais Professional Training, in San Rafael California, and is a Guild Certified Assistant Trainer. She also holds a JFK Graduate School of Holistic Studies degree from the Department of Holistic Health. In addition to her Feldenkrais Method® training she is also trained in CranioSacral Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology (Dr. Dan Siegel, Mindsight Institute), Interactive Guided Imagery and Mindfulness.
She has taught in training programs in Switzerland and in the US, maintains a private practice in Mill Valley, California and also has a small private practice in Paris, France, and Basel, Switzerland. Donna is a Guild Certified Assistant Trainer and is currently offering post-graduate trainings as well as on-going mentoring programs, both in Basel, Switzerland and here in the US.

Originally a teacher of dance and exercise, she has been a movement educator for 25 years. Donna works with people from all walks of life, including athletes, seniors, contractors, musicians, and dancers. She accepts orthopaedic, neurological and medical referrals.

Donna is fluent in English, French, Spanish and, to a lesser degree, German.
